Streamer guide

A battle royale your chat plays: viewers type !join, get an AI viking, and give it orders. Free, nothing to install, and every result counts on your viewers' profiles.

Setup (2 minutes)

  1. Open the Streamer dashboard and log in with Twitch (we only read your name and id).
  2. Pick how to show it:
    • ▶ Play — opens the game in its own browser window. Show it with OBS Window Capture (or any screen share). Keep that window open and not minimized — browsers pause hidden tabs. Click the game once to enable sound.
    • OBS Browser Source — copy your private link from the dashboard, add a Browser source, set width/height to your canvas (e.g. 1920×1080 or 2560×1440) and untick "Shutdown source when not visible". Tick "Control audio via OBS" to mix the sound. Never show this link on stream.
  3. That's it — the game connects to your chat automatically.

Running a battle

You or your mods typeWhat happens
!openOpens the pit — viewers type !join. Small chat? Draugr fill the pit up to 6 fighters (change or switch off on the dashboard): they hunt viewers, count for nothing and crumble when one viewer is left. Even a single viewer can fight the horde (a solo battle is just for fun — not recorded).
!open jarlOpens a Jarl battle: you fight as a giant Jarl against all of chat (needs at least 1 viewer). The Jarl's strength scales with how many join, so it's a fair fight at any size. You don't !join yourself — the Jarl is you. Whoever fells you is the Jarlslayer. Your record as the Jarl goes on the Top Jarls chart, separate from normal stats.
!roar · !stomp · !summonYour Jarl's powers (only you, during a Jarl battle; also buttons on the control bar). Roar stuns everyone near you (25 s cooldown), stomp blasts them back (15 s), summon raises draugr to fight for you (45 s). Ignore them and your Jarl uses them on its own after a short wait; time them well and you'll win more often. At 50% and 25% health the Jarl becomes enraged: it roars and attacks faster.
!beginStarts the battle.
!arena night / day / snowSwitches the arena look (remembered).

Prefer clicking? Move your mouse over the game: a control bar appears (New battle, Jarl battle, Begin battle, Arena) and hides again after a few seconds, so it stays off stream.

A battle runs about 2–3 minutes (longer with Valhalla). At the end, the top three stand on the podium, then the full results appear until you !open the next one. Share How to play with your chat.

Hands-free mode

On the dashboard, turn on Auto-start battles (a countdown in the pit, default 60 s — !begin still starts early; if too few have joined it waits, then starts 10 s after enough are in) and Open the next battle by itself (30 s after the results, same mode as the last battle). Together they run battle after battle while you just stream.

Settings

On the dashboard you can tune the Valhalla chance, hazards, max vikings, volume, and each chat command's success chance and cooldown. Changes apply from the next battle.
